A slower, better publishing loop

A publishing habit becomes easier to sustain when it has fewer hidden decisions. Capture the idea, shape one useful claim, review it in context, and publish it in formats that can be checked together.

The slower loop is not an argument for polishing forever. It is a way to separate drafting from distribution. Drafts can be incomplete and private. Published work should have a stable address, a clear summary, and dates that say what actually changed.

Once those boundaries are explicit, automation can do the repetitive work. A single catalog can produce feeds, indexes, sitemaps, and Markdown alternates while tests check that every representation agrees.

The result is a quieter system: fewer rushed posts, fewer stale copies, and more confidence that each published note will still make sense when someone discovers it later.
